Large or small renovations, we have a track
record of satisfaction. Being able to utilize over
30 years of personal experience working with
some of the most respected names in the
industry, and a love of the industry, we look
forward to the next challenge.

We can help you get optimum results on
projects ranging from drainage improvements,
modernizing the grass on your greens, and
laser grading tee tops, to the full blown tee to
green renovation. We have the experience to
help you make your golf course the best that it
can be, with an emphasis on lowering your
maintenance cost. Sometimes, the addition of
a chipping green or lessons area makes a
nice and simple addition to a course, that can
also help to recruit new golfers.

A three fairway lessons area can generate
some revenue from lessons as well as
interest in playing your golf course. We have
demonstrated the ability to help clients
throughout North America get results that keep
their golf course profitable, fun, and
challenging. We have always worked on the
concept of giving clients more than they paid
for. Every different site possesses it's
individual character, and no two courses are
the same. That is what drives us to explore the
next project, and the possibilities that are
presented with the unique characteristics of
the site.

aspects of golf construction."
Links at Jonesborough
Links at Jonesborough. Jonesborough, AR.

Architect: Lyndy Lindsey

On 5-6 acres adjacent to their golf course, the Links at Jonesborough decided to add
a short game practice area. This practice area borders a busy road giving their course
more visibility and advertising. The practice area offers three different levels of tees,
hitting out to several target greens of different elevations, offering a multitude of shot
options to practice. Grassy hollows and mounding surround some of these greens
offering practice with closer "flop shots' from different elevations and stances. The
biggest challenge here was insuring that there are no blind shots. Remember,
golfers like to see their ball land! The limited amount of poor topsoil and huge pile of
mulch gave is the idea to mix the mulch into the topsoil, hoping for a blend with
enough organics to decompose into fertile soil for healthy turf. Once again,
sometimes you have to think outside of the box! This is a perfect area to give lessons,
hopefully the course will realize this potential and utilize the area to bring more people
into this wonderful sport!

The Club At Sonterra
San Antonio, Texas

The Club at Sonterra has embarked on a lessons program to improve interest in the
game. The golf course maintenance crew did a great job of rough shaping this
lessons tee at the end of their driving range, then sand capped it with material leftover
from a recent greens renovation project. We were then called in to laser grade the tee
and clean the area in preparation for grass. We hope this new tee will help to bring
new interest into the sport as well as improve the game for it's current members.

Amarillo Country Club
Architect: Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design.

A complete renovation of this golf course was performed by Medalist Golf
Construction, Inc. who retained the services of Greensmith to laser grade the tees in
order to insure that the teeing surfaces are as spectacular as the rest of the golf
course features. This was our first venture with Medalist Golf, and after seeing their
dedication to quality, we are certainly hoping for many more projects together as we
both share the commitment to surpass the expectations of our clients.

Even though we were only hired to grade tee tops and one pass around the edge, as
a shaper for over 25 years, Greg finds it difficult to resist working the slopes all the
way down in order to insure good tie-ins.

Southern Hills Country Club. Tulsa, OK.
Architect; Keith Foster

Our second tee project with Mr. Foster, and Medalist Golf Construction, Inc. This
spectacular golf course is already ranked in the top 30 in the world, and thanks to the
team efforts of Mr. Foster, Medalist Golf, and Greensmith, all committed to exceeding
expectations with a passion for providing top notch facilities, we look for this course to
climb higher in the rankings.
